Cisco 640-816 exam is an associated exam of the Cisco Certified Network Association Certificate and is of 75 minutes duration. It has 40-50 questions, which can be answered in two languages i.e. English and German.
The 640- 816 test is conducted to assess the candidate’s knowledge and skills with respect to installing, operating and troubleshooting a small sized to a medium sized enterprise branch network.
This exam is comprehensive and covers five modules namely configure, verify and troubleshoot a switch with VLANs and inter-switch communications; implement an IP addressing scheme and IP services to meet network requirements in a medium size enterprise branch network; configure and troubleshoot basic operation and routing on Cisco devices; implement, verify and troubleshoot NAT and ACLs in a medium size enterprise branch office network; and implement and verify WAN links.
Cisco 640-816 ICND2 Exam, the Interconnecting Cisco Networking Devices Part 2 (ICND2) version 1.0 preparing program is suggested to be used. This program is authorized by the Cisco Learning Partners who give out Cisco IT training from Certified Cisco instructors.
This test also covers topics on VLSM and IPv6 addressing; extending switched networks with VLANs; the VTP, RSTP, OSPF and EIGRP protocols; determining IP routes; managing IP traffic with access lists; NAT and DHCP; establishing point to point connections; and establishing Frame Relay connections.
